What is AVP?

AVP stands for Auto Valet Parking.  Valet parking has been around for a while where a human valet takes the key from you, and drives your car off to a parking space.  However, conventional valet parking service has been available only at select locations such as luxury hotels.  In contrast, AVP technology will take the convenience to the next level and make valet parking service available virtually everywhere.


Where will AVP be available?

A. AVP by ParkingAI will be eventually available at every parking lot and garage.  At first, AVP may be available at large and busy parking lots and garages such as company parking garages, hotels, shopping malls and airports where AVP can bring great convenience very effectively.


Is AVP similar to robotaxis?

A. AVP is indeed quite similar to robotaxis.  In fact, AVP by ParkingAI will be at SAE Automation Level 4 in which no driver supervision is necessary (nor is the driver required in the car). Of course, safety is the top priority for AVP  in order to protect all pedestrians and cars in a parking lot.

Can I have AVP in my car?  When will it be available?

A. We are working with car companies to have AVP available in a few years.  We cannot disclose the exact timing just yet, but it will be sooner than most people think.  So, stay tuned!
